If you are hearing the acronym CSA for the first time, you are probably wondering what exactly it is.

CSA is an abbreviation for Community Supported Agriculture and, simply put, is the business model we use to operate our flower farm. When you sign up for our CSA, you purchase a "share" of our flowers for that growing season. Our CSA program provides an opportunity for you, the community, to invest financially in our farm at the beginning of a growing season when sales are typically at their lowest and our operating costs at their highest. The commitment of your share helps us invest in seeds, supplies, and equipment before our growing season takes bloom. Being a member means you share in some of the risks and rewards of farming without pulling weeds.

Experience the joy of receiving handpicked blooms from our nurturing fields every month with our Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) flower subscriptions. Each bouquet is a testament to the beauty that blooms in every stage of life, reflecting the resilience and grace inherent in motherhood.

Here are some of the benefits of being a CSA member:

  • You receive a portion of the farm's harvest, you know, those beautiful blooms.

  • Your share is an investment in your local agricultural economy.

  • The knowledge of how and where your flowers are grown.

  • A strong relationship with your farmer.

  • The opportunity to visit our farm.

  • A chance to connect and build friendships with other CSA members.

  • Education on how to arrange your flowers and care tips on how to keep your cut flowers fresh.

  • Each bouquet includes 10 stems of freshly cut tulips for 5 weeks. Variety and colors will vary.

  • Pick up will be Saturdays.

Tulip Bouquet Subscriptions will start when tulips begin to bloom! All flowers are grown & harvested here at the farm.

I aim for the first blooms to begin in April-Mother’s Day. As with all things farming, there is a bit of uncertainty because I am not only dependent on skills, but also on Mother Nature. Thus, I estimate when their bloom time will begin. The date the tulip bouquet subscription begins is influenced by weather, temperatures, growing conditions, when the bulbs arrive for planting, etc…but we do our best to plan. :) I will send an email to inform my members of their growing progress over the winter, and members will receive notification within one week of the first bouquet pick up date. Once tulips begin to bloom, you will receive a tulip bouquet each week for up to 5 weeks. Follow along on instagram for the easiest updates!

Tulip Bouquet Subscriptions are non-refundable. When you purchase a tulip subscription you are also accepting a shared risk as a subscriber, that the crop may fail due to weather, disease, pest pressure or any other reason that may not be within the farm's control. This subscription allows you to support our small farm when it is needed most; by purchasing this subscription in advance, it helps us pay for the costs to grow the tulips during the leanest financial time of the year. It helps cover the cost of the bulbs, electricity, water and soil and labor during the winter months--- when nothing else is growing.

I would love for you to join the community of people who make our farm run. If you have more questions regarding our CSA Program, visit our FAQ page.
