I went to Yellowstone National Park when I was ten. I used my mom's new digital camera to capture all the magic I was experiencing and never turned back. My love for photography grew from nature, landscapes, micro, to lifestyle and families. I still love Ansel Adams to this day. My true passions lie in nature and documentary photography.

I am passionate about capturing the magic of motherhood through the lens, I am a devoted photographer with a heart full of love for the art of family storytelling. As a mother of three beautiful children, I've found inspiration in the everyday moments that define the essence of parenthood. It's a joy and privilege to not only witness, but also, document the growth, laughter, and unique bonds shared between siblings. Beyond the frames, I am grateful for the opportunity to stay home with my little ones, creating a nurturing environment that allows them to thrive. Through my lens and my life, I aim to weave a narrative that celebrates the beauty of motherhood, the precious connections within a family, and the profound fulfillment found in cherishing these fleeting moments at home.

My green thumbs thrive in the garden where I cultivate an array of beautiful flowers. Beyond their aesthetic appeal, I'm fascinated by the therapeutic benefits that flowers bring to our lives. Whether it's the calming presence of lavender or the uplifting spirit of sunflowers, I believe in the positive impact that blooms can have on our well-being. We also use our garden space as an outdoor learning environment and sell flowers in a farm stand to introduce entrepreneurial skills and financial literacy to children. With a 15 year background in education, I strive to find ways to learn on our farm every day. Whether it is taking care of our livestock, or play with worms, there are always opportunities to learn.

When I'm not tending to my garden, you'll find me in the kitchen, experimenting with flavors and creating delicious memories. Cooking is my way of expressing love and building connections, making every meal a celebration of togetherness. Join me on this journey as I share the beauty of motherhood, the joy of growing specialty blooms, and the heartwarming moments created in the kitchen.

Welcome to my little corner of love and creativity!

If I am being honest, I probably started growing flowers so I could take photographs of them. There is a sense of simplicity, joy, wonder, and retreat in the garden. Surrounded by birds, bees, butterflies, and worms. Gardening has been shown to have a positive impact on mood and brain chemistry. It allows us to get out into the fresh air and breathe. Gardening is a mindfulness practice where you can just exist in the moment. Use your senses the next time you are outdoors. See the colors around you, smell the fresh air, listen to the birds, touch the plants, and taste what the garden has to offer. That is me — that is Rooted and Raised.
