As we stand on the cusp of a new growing year, we're thrilled to share a significant evolution within our farm. What started as a dream of capturing picturesque moments through photography all while cultivating a stunning flower field, it since has blossomed into a deeper passion – a commitment to education, nature, and community.
Hadley's Dream: Petite Petals Company
The heartwarming enthusiasm of a child has inspired a new chapter – Petite Petals Company. Hadley, brimming with excitement and curiosity, will be taking over the flower stand and garden market. She has asked multiple times over the last few weeks why we do not have flowers yet in the garden. I can't wait to hand this adventure over to her. As Hadley eagerly awaits the return of the flowers, her dream is to share them with all of you. This summer, Hadley's flower stand will be more than just a market; it will be a beacon of joy, curiosity, entrepreneurship, and community. The innocence in her eyes as she tends to the stand is a reminder that beauty and inspiration can be found in the simplest gestures.
Embracing Growth
While our vibrant flowers will still grace our farm in all their glory, 2024 marks a pivotal shift in focus. I have always held a profound love for teaching, nurturing a connection with nature, and unraveling the mysteries of the natural world. This year, our farm will transform into a haven of learning, with a mission to impart these passions, not only to our children, but to all who seek to connect with the world around them.
Introducing the Outdoor Learning Classroom & Learning Garden
If you were able to come to my kids paint night last year, you may of noticed how excited I was. My heart was so full. It is easy to say some of my best friends are kids. As much as I love doing events for adults, there is nothing like the creative side you can pull from a child. Immerse yourself in a world where art, science, and literacy dance together – our Outdoor Learning Classroom will be a place where the rustle of leaves is a melody, and every bloom is a chapter waiting to be explored. Here, children and adults alike will embark on a journey of discovery, unlocking the secrets of nature. I hope to have a few events here, as well as, host multiple classes in the new Growing Seeds Studio .
